These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you use kioncm.com or buy services from KION, a software house based in Port Said, Egypt. By using the site or paying for a package, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
1. Our services
KION builds custom software, websites, mobile apps, automation workflows, and integrations, and offers website hosting. The exact deliverables for each order are described on the package card on our website or in the quotation we send you.
2. Prices and payment (OPay)
- Package prices are shown in US dollars for reference. You are charged in Egyptian pounds (EGP); the final EGP amount is shown on the OPay checkout page before you confirm, and that is the amount you pay.
- Online payments are processed by OPay. You can pay with any method offered on the OPay checkout page, such as bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, Meeza) or the OPay wallet. Your use of OPay is also subject to OPay’s own terms.
- An order is confirmed only after OPay reports the payment as successful. If the payment fails or is cancelled, no order is created.
- The OPay checkout page shows the merchant name KION, so you can confirm you are paying us.
- We never collect or store your card or wallet details; they are entered only on OPay’s secure page.
- Packages are paid in full in advance. Custom projects are paid according to the schedule in the quotation.
- We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by OPay, banks, or card networks, but we will help you resolve them.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact details and the content (text, images, logos) and access needed for your project.
- Reply to questions and review drafts in reasonable time. Delivery dates move if we are waiting on you.
- Make sure you have the rights to any content you give us and that it is lawful.
4. Scope changes
Requests beyond the package or quotation (extra pages, features, integrations, languages) are not included. We will send you a separate quote before doing any extra work.
5. Service delivery and approval
Our packages are digital services; nothing is shipped physically. After OPay confirms your payment, we contact you by phone, WhatsApp, or email within 1 business day to start. The website package is usually delivered within 7–14 business days after we receive your content, by sending you a preview link and then publishing it on your domain or our hosting. Custom projects follow the timeline in the quotation.
When we deliver your project, you have 7 days to review it and send any corrections within the agreed scope. If we hear nothing within that time, the delivery is considered approved.
6. Hosting
- The hosting package includes 24 months of shared hosting starting from the day your site goes live. Renewal after that is optional and charged at our rates at the time of renewal.
- You may not use hosting for illegal content, spam, malware, or anything that harms our servers or other customers. We may suspend a site that breaks this rule.
- We take reasonable care to keep servers running and backed up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Ownership
- After full payment, you own the final website, designs, and content we create specifically for you.
- KION keeps ownership of its own pre-existing tools, code libraries, and know-how, and gives you a permanent licence to use them as part of your project.
- Third-party components (open-source libraries, fonts, plugins) remain under their own licences.
- We may show your project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
8. Liability
We deliver our services with professional care. To the extent permitted by law, KION is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profit or data), and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
9. Refunds and cancellations
Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund Policy.
10. Use of this website
You may not misuse this website — for example by trying to break its security, overload it, or copy its content or design for commercial use without our permission.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be referred to the competent courts of Port Said.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force on the day you pay applies to your order.
